Description
The 5-room holiday house is located in the Wildhaus district of Steinrüti on the "Mittelweg" and is situated near the Spar supermarket (approx. 400m). It is on a slope and offers a wonderful view of the Churfirsten mountains. In summer, the garden, including a fire pit, invites you to barbecue. In winter, you can reach the village centre (village square) in about 5 minutes, from where you can conveniently take the ski bus to the valley station of the mountain railways. The basement contains the laundry and storage room, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, and separate toilet. The double bedroom, which was previously located in the basement, has been moved to the attic. The room in the basement has been converted into a cool playroom with many toys and entertainment electronics. The holiday house was extensively renovated in 2010. The upper floor contains the remaining living area, including a children's bedroom. The house with a chalet-like character is ideal for families, whether in winter or summer.
No direct access: The path to the house leads across a meadow (approx. 50m), which is mowed in summer and cleared in winter. You can load your luggage directly on the "Mittelweg". Parking is available at the multi-purpose hall "Chuchitobel". Detailed information will be provided before arrival. Arrival in winter on snow-covered roads: Please ensure that your car has all-wheel drive or snow chains. The path to the property is relatively steep. Ask about the conditions during key handover. Although the road is regularly cleared, access cannot be guaranteed during heavy snowfall. If this is the case, you can load your luggage at the village square and reach the house via the "Mittelweg" (approx. 5-minute walk).

The 4.5-room chalet built in 2013 is located above Wildhaus, at the foot of the Churfirsten. During all four seasons, nature and the mountains are right outside the front door. In winter you can reach the piste directly from the house and in the warm season you can enjoy the mountain summer on the large terrace. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and is equipped with an open, spacious living and dining area. With the large panoramic windows, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Säntis, the Wildhauser Schafberg and the surrounding Toggenburg mountains. Another highlight is the sauna and a whirlpool. The modern, stylish and rustic furnishings spread charm. In an exclusive location, the chalet offers everything for unforgettable mountain holidays. The house has 3 bedrooms, one of which has a bunk bed. The cosy living room has a flatscreen TV, a sofa and a dining table. A terrace offers you a lovely outdoor space in the warmer seasons. Wir haben das Haus zu zweit bewohnt und haben fast jeden Abend gekocht. Die Küche ist mit Kochutensilien gut bestückt.
Als Familie wäre der Platz zu klein. Kein Schrank für Lebensmittel vorhanden (musste mir selber Platz beschaffen) und der Kühlschrasee more

Als Familie wäre der Platz zu klein. Kein Schrank für Lebensmittel vorhanden (musste mir selber Platz beschaffen) und der Kühlschrank ist für mehr als 2 Personen zu klein. Nach den Wanderungen haben wir jeweils die Zeit bis zum Sonnenuntergang auf dem Sitzplatz genossen. Herrlich die Aussicht auf die 7 Churfirsten. Fazit: Das Haus ist für 2-3 Personen schön und zweckmässig, für Familien eher ungeeignet. (Wir haben selber 3 Kinder grossgezogen und wissen wieviel Platz wir damals brauchten) |

Die 70m entfernte Kantonsstrasse ist in der Nacht ruhig und bietet tagsüber viel unterhaltsame Szenen. Bushaltestelle, Restaurents, SPAR, Dorfladen und gute Bäckerei sind näher als 400m entfernt. Wir haben die Woche ausserordentlich genossen!
